The UPS Pickup Tool makes shipping orders to your customers fast and easy. You can create package pickup requests from your home or office, create pickup requests for return shipments from customers, view rates before scheduling a pickup, view the status of pickup requests, and cancel pending pickup requests, all from within Shipping Manager.
To use the UPS Pickup Tool, you must also be using the integrated UPS functionality with your Merchant Solutions or Store v.1 account. If you aren't registered to use the integrated UPS functionality, learn how.
If you're using the integrated UPS functionality with your store, you can access the UPS Pickups Tool from the Manage UPS Pickups section of Shipping Manager:
- To create a pickup request from your home or office, click the Request/Rate Pickup link. Learn how to creating pickups.
- To view the rate for a pickup, click the Request/Rate Pickup link, complete only step 1, and click the Next button at the bottom of the Step 1 page. Learn how to view pickup rates.
- To view the status of pending pickup requests, click the Pickup Status link.
- To cancel a pending pickup request, click the Cancel Pickup link and enter the required information to cancel your pickup request. Learn how to cancel pickup requests.
To create a pickup request for a return shipment, you must open the order being returned in Order Manager, click the Create Return Shipment link, and complete the return shipment information. Once you've created a return shipment, you will have the option to schedule a package pickup with UPS for this shipment.
