What are filters?
Filters direct incoming emails to the folder in which they should be delivered. They can reduce clutter in your Inbox and help keep you organized. You can even set up filters to direct unwanted emails to your Trash or Spam folder.
You can create up to 500 filters. Note: Filters are only available in Full-featured Mail.
On the Filters pane, click the Add new filters link.
On the Edit Filter pane, enter a name for your filter in the Filter name field.
Under Set rules, set your filter rules base on:
From
To/CC
Subject
Body
Note: Each rule has criteria for contains, does not contain, begins with, and ends with. Select the criterion then enter a filter value with or without the Match case option. The filter value for From and To/CC filters can be either full or partial email addresses, including just the domain name to filter all email from a domain.
Select a folder to filter the messages to or create a new folder.
