You can delete emails as you view them, from a list of messages, and without needing to view their contents.

Deleting a single message
Delete a single email from your message list by:
- Select the checkbox next to the message.
- Click the Delete icon.
OR
- Click the email to view it.
- Click the Delete icon.
Deleting multiple emails in a list
- Select the checkbox next to the emails you want to delete.
- Click the Delete icon.
Deleting all emails
In your Inbox, or other folder:
- Scroll down to your email messages to load more than the initial 50 messages.
- Select the checkbox to the left of Archive at the top of your message list.
- Click the Delete icon.
Deleting an email without opening it
In your message list:
- Mouse over an email.
- On the far-right side, click the Trash icon that appears on that email.
Good to know: Deleted emails are sent to your Trash folder. If you deleted emails in error, you can recover them by moving them out of your Trash.
Moving emails from your Trash
- Click the Trash link in the left navigation column.
- In the Trash folder:
- Select the checkbox next to the email(s) you want to move from your Trash folder.
- Click Move.
- Click a folder's name in the pull-down menu.
Your emails move from your Trash to the selected folder.
Delete messages in Basic Mail
Delete a single message
- Open an email or select its checkbox.
- Click Delete.
You can also click the Trash icon at the far right of the message to delete it.
Delete multiple emails in a list
When viewing a list of emails:
- Click the Select All button.
- Click Delete.
