Please note that to send and receive your business email using POP or IMAP, you must create an app password. Learn more.
When your business mail administrator creates a new email address for you, that's only the first half of the process. You must complete the process by activating it.
Important: After you sign in to your business email account, you should immediately create your business email profile. This will allow you to set up your password reset options and create an app password if needed.
Activate your business email account
- Look for your invitation.

- In the email invitation, note the Username (your business email address) and Temp Password, then click Activate your account.

- Sign in with your Username and Temporary Password.

- You will be prompted to create a new password:
- Enter the New password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Mark the checkbox if you agree to Yahoo's Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Click Continue.
Note: The new password must be between 8 - 20 characters and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character, and no repeated characters.

- You will be prompted to sign in with your username and new password. Click Sign in.
