If you replace Turbify's default MX records or create an additional MX record for your domain name zone files with a higher priority than the Turbify mail servers (in other words, a priority lower than 50), the email services provided in the plan you purchased will no longer function. All email addressed to your domain will be handled by the server you specify in the MX record.
Please note that any changes that you make to your advanced DNS settings can interrupt your Turbify service. Turbify has a limited scope to assist with resolving issues that may arise from DNS setting changes. If you are not an advanced user, we strongly recommend that you not change these settings. Note: When updating MX records for a new email provider, you may also be required to add a TXT record. Some email providers, such as Office 365, may require an SRV record.
While changes will be shown immediately, it may take up to 30 minutes for them to fully propagate. Note that mail servers with lower priority settings will be used for mail delivery first.
Note: For Website Builder plans, there won't be a Domains link in the Dashboard if there's no domain connected to your site.

Add your MX records
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Locate the MX Records section then click the Add link.
- Enter a hostname and priority for your record, then click the Add button.
Note: Some mail providers, such as Google and Microsoft, ask you to put an additional dot (.) at the end of the mail server hostname. You don't need to do that here.
Edit your MX Records
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Locate the MX Records section then click the Edit icon next to the record you wish to edit.
- Enter a new hostname and priority for your record, then click the Update button.
Note: Some mail providers, such as Google and Microsoft, ask you to put an additional dot (.) at the end of the mail server hostname. You don't need to do that here.
Delete your MX records
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Locate the MX Records section then click the Delete icon next to the record you wish to delete.
- Confirm deletion by clicking the Delete button.
Reset your MX records to default
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Locate the MX Records section then click the Reset to default link.
Note: This link is only present if you have custom records. If your records are already at the default values, this link will not be displayed. - To confirm that you wish to reset your MX records to their default settings, click the Reset button.
