Important: The Floating Cart is not supported in Microsoft-based browsers (such as Edge) released before April 2019.

• Merchants using Editor 3.0 templates
• Merchants using Editor 2.0 templates or custom templates

Merchants using Editor 3.0 templates

The operators required for controlling and displaying the Mini-Cart and Floating Cart are included in Editor 3.0 templates (storetemplate. template), but require Store Editor to be republished before they can be enabled for the first time.

Publishing Store Editor will not automatically enable and display the Mini-Cart and Floating Cart. These options must be enabled using Floating Cart Manager.

Once Store Editor has been republished, you may enable the mini-cart, floating cart, or both using Floating Cart Manager:

1. Sign in to your My Services page.
2. Click the Store link.
   
3. Go to Floating Cart Manager.
   
4. In the Global Settings section, enable the Mini-Cart by clicking the Show radio button beside Show Mini-Cart.
    
5. Enable the Floating Cart by clicking the Show radio button beside Show Floating Cart.
    
6. Configure your Mini-Cart and Floating Cart settings.
7. Next, review your Mini-Cart and Floating Cart display settings in the Customize Appearance tab:
   • Primary Font Settings
   • Text Link Settings
   • Background, Header, and Footer Settings
   • Button Settings
   • Icon Settings
   • Using CSS
8. Choose to Save, Save & Preview, or Publish your settings. The Mini-Cart and Floating Cart will not be displayed on your store pages until you publish your Floating Cart Manager settings. Previewing your changes before publishing is recommended.
   

Merchants using Editor 2.0 templates or custom templates

Manual setup options are available for merchants using Editor 2.0 templates who do not wish to upgrade to Editor 3.0 templates, and for merchants using custom templates. These merchants may:

• Insert a Floating Cart script and Mini-Cart div element into their store pages, or,
• Insert a Floating Cart RTML operator and Mini-Cart div element into their store pages (advanced setup, recommended only for merchants and developers who have experience working with RTML and modifying templates).

Manual setup instructions, as well as the Floating Cart script, Floating Cart RTML Operator, and Mini-Cart div element are available by accessing the Manual Setup tab in Floating Cart Manager.

Once you've installed a Floating Cart script or RTML operator, and the Mini-Cart div element, you may enable and customize the Mini-Cart and Floating Cart using Floating Cart Manager. Please see steps 2-7 for enabling the Mini-Cart and Floating Cart in the Merchants Using Editor 3.0 templates section above.
