Set the order button to increment item quantity
Learn how to change what an Order button does if the shopper already has that item in their cart.

You can choose what will happen if a shopper clicks an order button for an item they have already placed into their shopping cart.
By default, clicking the order button for an item in the cart will take the shopper back to the shopping cart without updating the item quantity. Depending on what you think the shopper's intentions would be, you can set the button to do nothing (returns to cart) or increment the item quantity (add another of the same item to the cart).
Select the Order Button Behavior using the Order Button pull-down menu:
Does nothing - When the order button for an item already in the shopping cart is clicked, the shopper will return to the shopping cart but the item quantity will not be incremented; the shopper can update the quantity in the shopping cart manually.
Increments quantity - When the order button for an item already in the shopping cart is clicked, the shopper returns to the shopping cart and another of the item that was clicked is added to the shopping cart; this setting may confuse shoppers that forgot what they purchased and now wonder why the shopping cart is adding an additional item. This confusion can lead to shopping cart abandonment.
Click the Save button when finished or the Save & Preview button to save and preview your changes.
Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
