By default, Merchant Solutions sets your store to perform real-time authorization of credit card orders when you have online payment processing set up through your merchant bank account. Enabling real-time authorization allows you to check AVS and CVV information submitted by your customers and run AVS Rules and CVV Rules as part of the Risk Tools feature.
If the processor module isn't expanded, click the name of your merchant account (PayPal Payments Pro, Braintree, or an FDMS compatible provider) then click the Edit button.
Select the Authorize before confirming order radio button then click the OK button.
Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
Your store should now perform real-time authorizations when customers place orders using credit cards that your merchant account is set to support.
