What if I currently have my domain pointing at my Store and a custom MX record set up so I can host my mail elsewhere?

Those Store v.1 customers who have custom MX records will not immediately be given the ability to upgrade. We will contact you directly about when and how to upgrade so you have no loss of mail service.
