The Import Tracking Number feature allows you to import UPS Tracking Numbers from WorldShip into orders, and automatically change shipment status to shipped.

How it works

The Import Tracking Number feature uses the yahoo.csv file exported from WorldShip to update the shipment status of orders. The Turbify import system will insert the first tracking number that applies to an Order ID. Subsequent lines of data for that Order ID will not be processed automatically and may require you to manually update those orders.

If your yahoo.csv file contains multiple rows per Order ID, merchants are advised to either:

• remove the earlier rows so only the latest status is applied
• manually update the shipment status in the Order Manager for such orders

Import tracking numbers from WorldShip

1. Export the yahoo.csv file from UPS WorldShip.
   (Do not open .csv files in Excel without following special instructions.) Note: WorldShip will always export to the file named yahoo.csv. If you want to save your csv files from each WorldShip session, you should copy (NOT rename) yahoo.csv to yahoo-2005-08-18.csv (for example).
2. Go to your Store Manager and click Orders in the Process column.
3. Click the Import button.
4. Click the Browse button to locate the yahoo.csv file that you exported in step 1.
5. Click the Upload button to upload and analyze the file.
6. Review any alerts related to the import process.
   Important: While you can continue importing if you receive alerts, any lines with alerts will be ignored and will not be imported though they will be logged.
7. Click Apply to begin the UPS Tracking Number upload. If you don't wish to import the data, click Done to return to the Order Manager.

A confirmation screen is shown indicating how many lines were imported and how many lines were ignored. The shipping status of your successfully imported orders will be set to Shipped.

Note: Clicking Done any time before clicking Apply will result in no importing of tracking numbers. You must click Apply to make any changes.
