First, make sure you've transcribed your authorization code correctly. It's easy to confuse similar-looking characters, like a zero and the letter O.
To double-check, visit your Domain Control Panel and view your authorization code.
If you copy and paste the authorization code to give it to the new registrar, that eliminates the possibility of transcription errors. Just make sure you don't accidentally copy extra blank spaces before or after the code.
