When you redelegate a domain, you're telling the company that registered the domain (your registrar) to associate your domain name with different hosting and email services. You redelegate your domain by pointing the domain name servers to a new hosting services provider.
Redelegating allows you to switch to a new provider of hosted services, such as email and web hosting, without having to actually transfer the management of your domain name to a new registrar.
Keep in mind that whoever has the name servers assigned to them has DNS control. For example, if your name servers are pointed to Turbify, you will use the our Domain Control Panel to manage the DNS settings. If you point the name servers to GoDaddy.com, you will use the GoDaddy.com Domain Control Panel to manage the DNS settings. In the latter case, changes in the Turbify Domain Control Panel will have no effect.
