Store Editor creates static image URLs for your store's item images. When an image has a static URL, this means that the URL doesn't change unless you choose to change it — for example, if you choose to change the item image's base file name. By default, new item images will be given SEO-friendly static URLs using descriptive base file names that are created using your item name. If you'd like to change the base file name for an item image, you can do so by editing the value in the new Item-Name field after you've uploaded the image using either Store Editor or Catalog Manager.
A number will be added to the end of the base file name for all versions of this image generated for the store (e.g., main item image, thumbnail, etc.); for example: chocolate-frog-01, chocolate-frog-02.

- On the Edit Item page, locate the Image variable, located in the Store Fields section. The Image-Name field will appear to the right of your image thumbnail.

Important: when you change the value that's in the Image-Name field, you are also changing the static image URL for the item image. If you change the value that's in the Image-Name field, once saved and published, the image should keep the same static URL until such time as the value in the Image-Name field is again modified (if it is modified again in the future).
