When you sign up for an Turbify plan that includes a domain name, your domain will be locked automatically. You can unlock and relock your domain anytime; however, we recommend turning locking off only in the event that you need to make changes to your domain name servers.
Lock or unlock your domain
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Click on your current Locking status.
- Your domain can be either locked or unlocked . Click the toggle next to the padlock icon to change its current status then click the Save button.
Note: For Website Builder plans, there won't be a Domains link in the Dashboard if there's no domain connected to your site.
Please note that only the plan owner can lock or unlock a domain. If you need to unlock your domain, be sure to relock it as soon as possible. In addition, please be aware that pending domains cannot be modified; you can change the lock status only of active domains.
