Important: The Floating Cart is not supported in Microsoft-based browsers (such as Edge) released before April, 2019.
Note: The following help article is for merchants using Editor 2.0 templates or custom templates. A floating cart RTML operator and mini-cart ID are already included in Editor 3.0 templates. Merchants using Editor 3.0 templates should publish Store Editor prior to enabling the mini-cart and floating cart in Floating Cart Manager.
The following instructions are a suggestion of how to insert the floating cart RTML operator into your Editor 2.0 or custom templates. Please note that Turbify does not support template customization or RTML modification. Adding the floating cart operator and mini-cart ID directly into your store templates is suggested only for developers and merchants who are familiar and comfortable with modifying RTML. Merchants not familiar with RTML who must install the floating cart and mini-cart manually are advised to add the floating cart script and mini-cart ID using variables in Store Editor.
Merchants using standard Editor 2.0 templates should add the floating cart operator to their page. template. If you are using custom templates, the floating cart operator should be added to your main store template page. This operat or should be placed after all other content, at the bottom of the template. Please note that in order to edit an existing template, the template must first be copied.

Add the floating cart operator:
Once the floating cart operator has been added to your template, you must add a mini-cart ID to your store pages, then publish your pages. The mini-cart ID is required for cart positioning, and must be included in your pages in addition to the floating cart script.
If you have not added the mini-cart ID to your store pages, see recommendations for adding it to your templates, or how to add it using Store Editor or third-party design tools.
Note: If you are editing the page. template and cannot see your changes in Store Editor after adding the floating cart operator and mini-cart ID, ensure that you've enabled the floating cart and mini-cart in Floating Cart Manager, and used the Publish button in Floating Cart Manager to publish these changes. If you do not see the mini-cart and floating cart in your Store Editor after publishing Floating Cart Manager, verify that the template being called by the page you are viewing is the edited template. For example, if editing the page. template and naming the template copy page2, check to ensure that the template being called is page2. To verify this:
Once the floating cart script and mini-cart ID have been inserted into your store pages, and you've published these changes, you may use Floating Cart Manager to enable, disable, and customize your mini-cart and floating cart.
Merchants using standard Editor 2.0 templates may experience some known display issues with their floating cart and mini-cart. These are currently being investigated.
