Access the Simple Promotional Email tool

1. Sign in to your My Services page.
2. Click the Store link.
   
3. Go to Simple Promotional Email.
   
4. On the Create your Email page:
   • Using the pull-down menu in the From: section to select an email address from which to send your message. Addresses to choose from are your primary business email address and its associated Yahoo email address.
   • Enter your recipients email addresses into the To: field, separated by commas. Note: There is a limit of 50 recipients per email. 
   • ​Look over your email Subject line and modify it if necessary. Remember to use your name in the subject, to encourage customers to open and read your message.
   
5. Verify that your store name and URL are correct.
   
6. Now you're ready to create or customize your message and message title. You may choose to customize the text already in the message field, or to create a new message.
   

Include a coupon in your message

The Simple Promotional Email tool gives you the choice of creating a new coupon to send with your email (if applicable), or not including a coupon.

While you may choose not to include a coupon, remember that coupons are an effective promotional tool for encouraging sales.

Tips for creating a coupon

• Use a simple, easy to remember coupon code. (Example: thankyou)
• Set an expiration date that is not too far in the future, to create a sense of urgency.

Highlight products

You can select up to three store products to highlight in your message. By default, these are the featured products from your store, but may easily be changed to display any of your store's products.

Save and preview your email

Use the Save & Preview button to see your message as it will be sent to your customers.

Now, you may review your email content and appearance, sender address, recipient addresses, and subject line. To make changes, click on the Edit button and modify your email.

When you are ready to send your email, click Send.

Note: Simple promotional email is currently limited to Merchant Solutions and Store v.1 customers who use Store Editor to build their store pages. Before you can use simple promotional email, you will need to follow the steps to open for business. Once your account is officially open for business, you will find the link for the Simple Promotion Email tool under the Promote section.
