An iframe, or inline frame, is basically a sub-window within a web page that can display content from another source, such as another web page. You may have encountered frames in other websites; they are often used to divide a web page into distinct sections or frames that can function independently of each other.
Although both regular frames and iframes display content from another source, iframes appear not as segments of the window but as elements within the page, much like images.
Please note that recent versions of most browsers support the use of iframes; however, older browsers may not properly display the contents of an iframe. Learn how to use iframes.
