Set up incremental pricing for an item

Learn how to add additional costs for product options in your store.

The Options field of an item can be used to set incremental pricing. Incremental pricing lets you associate an extra cost with a specific option. To set up incremental pricing, you need to include the extra cost of the item options in the Options field.

Set up incremental pricing in Store Editor

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.
  2. Click the Store link.
    The Store link is under Control Panels.
  3. Go to Store Editor.
    The Store Editor link is under Edit.
  4. Navigate to the item page to which you wish to add incremental pricing.
  5. Click the Edit button.
    The Edit button.
  6. In the Options field, enter the incremental pricing in this format:
    Color Black "Red(+6.00)" "Blue(+6.00)"

  7. Click the Update button.
    The Update button.
    This will add an additional $6.00 to the item price for Red and Blue options.

  8. Publish when ready.
    The Publish Options button.

Set up incremental pricing in Catalog Manager

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.
  2. Click the Store link.
    The Store link is under Control Panels.
  3. Go to Catalog Manager.
    The Catalog Manager link is under Edit.
  4. Select the item to which you wish to add incremental pricing to get to the edit screen.
    The item ID link.
  5. In the Options field, enter the incremental pricing in this format:
    Color Black "Red(+6.00)" "Blue(+6.00)"

  6. Click the Save button.
    The Save button.
    This will add an additional $6.00 to the item price for Red and Blue options.

  7. Publish your catalog when ready.
    Publish your catalog.
