Tabs in business email

Learn about using tabs in business email.

Note: The Tabs feature is only available in Full-featured Mail.

Enable tabs

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. On the top-right, click the Settings icon.
  3. On the options pane which opens, move the switch next to Message tabs to the right.

  4. A Settings tab will appear on the top-left. Mouse over the Settings tab and click the X if you wish to close it.
  5. Messages will now open in tabs.

Manage open message tabs

  • Switch between open messages:
    • Click any of the tabs located above the toolbar.
      Click a tab to open the message.
    • When a message is opened, click the up or down arrows located on the top-right.
      Click the arrows to move between messages.
  • Close messages:
    • Individual tabs - Mouse over a tab and click the X that appears.

    • All tabs - Click the arrow next to the last tab then select Close all tabs.
