Block and unblock addresses in business email

You can block up to 1000 email addresses in your business email.

Block email addresses in an email in Full-featured Mail

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. Open the message from the sender you wish to block
  3. Click the More icon then select Block Senders. Note: The More icon is the three dots to the right of Spam.

  4. In the Block senders dialog, confirm that you wish to block the sender(s) by selecting Block all future emails and clicking the OK button. Note: You can also select to Delete all existing emails from the sender(s).

You can also manually add email addresses to your blocked list in the Security and privacy pane in Settings.

Block email addresses in Settings in Full-featured Mail

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
    The Settings icon.
  3. Click More Settings.
    The More Settings link.
  4. Select Security and privacy.
    The Security and privacy link.
  5. In the Security and privacy pane, click the Add link.

  6. In the Address field, enter the email address that you wish to block.

Unblock email addresses in Full-featured Mail

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
    The Settings icon.
  3. Click More Settings.
    The More Settings link.
  4. Select Security and privacy.
    The Security and privacy link.
  5. In the Security and privacy pane, click the trash can icon next to the email address you wish to unblock.
    Clicking the trash can icon will delete the blocked user.
    You'll see a Blocked sender deleted confirmation message.

Block email addresses in Basic Mail

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. From the pull-down menu on the top-right, select Settings then click the Go button.
    Go to Settings.
  3. On the left, select Blocked Addresses.
    The Blocked Addresses option.
  4. Under Blocked addresses, enter an email address you wish to block then click the Add button. Note: You can block up to 1,000 email addresses.

Unblock email addresses in Basic Mail

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. From the pull-down menu on the top-right, select Settings then click the Go button.

  3. On the left, select Blocked Addresses.

  4. Under Blocked addresses, click the trash can icon next to the email address you wish to unblock.

    The email address will immediately be removed from the blocked address list.
