Changing a page layout

Learn how to change the default layout of your store.

By default, your sections will be laid out in two columns, with thumbnail images on the left and text on the right. You can change this on a page by page basis using the Layout Tool.

Change your page layout of a single page in Store Editor

  1. Sign in to your My Services page.
  2. Click the Store link.
    The Store link is in the Control Panels column.
  3. Go to Store Editor.
    The Store Editor link is under Edit.
  4. In the Advanced Editor toolbar, click the Controls button.

  5. In the Look and Layout section, make sure the pull-down menu is set to Yes. If it is set to No, set it to Yes.

  6. Click the Update button.

  7. Navigate to the page where you wish to change the layout.
  8. Click the Layout button.

  9. Alignment lets you pick the way you want the individual elements of the page to be aligned.

  10. Columns lets you pick a number of columns to contain the elements of the page. Usually with center alignment you want one more column than with left alignment.

  11. Repeat this process for any additional pages where you wish to change the layout. When done, click Hide to turn off the Layout toolbar.

  12. Publish when ready.
    The Publish button.

Note: The Layout button appears only on non-empty section and item pages.

While the Look Tool applies to your site as a whole, the Layout Tool applies only to the page you are on. Experiment to see what layout looks best for each page.
