If your custom A record doesn't seem to be working:
- Your destination IP address may not be active. If your custom A record points to a destination that is not yet active, you'll see a page cannot be displayed error in your browser. When creating a custom A record, please be sure that your host name is pointing to an active IP address. To confirm that the IP address is correct and active, you should contact the service provider for the destination ID address.
- Your A record may also still be propagating. Custom records may take up to 72 hours to be recognized across the Internet. We recommend testing your A record later on during this 72 hour propagation period.
Important! Turbify has a limited scope to assist with resolving issues that may arise from DNS setting changes. If changes you have made aren't working, we recommend contacting the support for any third party services that you may be directing your site traffic to.
