Some of our customers use a domain they registered elsewhere with their Turbify plans by redirecting their domain name to point to Turbify. In this process, called redelegation, you're telling the company that registered your domain (your registrar) to associate your domain name with different hosting and email services.
When you redelegate your domain, you'll continue to manage your domain name with your current registrar, and will pay any renewal fees to that company. If you decide to transfer your domain to Turbify instead (a process called registrar transfer), you'll be able to manage your entire plan, including your domain name, through Turbify and with a single bill.
Both redelegation and registrar transfer allow you to associate a domain you already own with your Turbify plan, but we think transferring your domain is simply more convenient. When you transfer, we'll also take care of renewing your domain name when it expires.
