In Customer Manager, filters are used to locate a specific segment of customers that match the filters you've chosen to apply. For example, if you want to see which of your registered customers has ordered a specific product, or a product from a specific category, so you can target these customers with a coupon offer related to their past purchases, you can use the Product or Product Category filters (listed in the Results that match filter category) to quickly find these customers.
Maybe you want to see which customers have an average order value of $50 or more, and have been repeat customers since registering. To locate these customers, you would do the following:
- Using the Results that match pull-down menu, select Avg. Order Value.
- Select Greater than or equal to from the list beside it.
- Enter 50.00 into the corresponding field.
- Click the + sign to add another Results that match filter.
- Using the Results that match pull-down menu, select Total Orders.
- Select Greater than or equal to from the list beside it.
- Enter 2 into the corresponding field.
- Click the View Matches button. Or, if you wish to generate a downloadable report of these results instead, click the Generate Report button.
If you've chosen to view these results on-screen, a list of matching customers will be displayed in the customer table. If you've chosen to a generate a filtered report, the matching customer data can be downloaded in CSV format using the report download link in the Reports (Last 7 Days) section of Customer Manager.
