Standard coupon codes may contain letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores. Coupon codes must begin with a letter or number. Standard coupon codes are not case-sensitive, and may be up to a maximum of 128 characters in length.
Single-use coupon code prefixes may contain letters or numbers only, are not case-sensitive, and may be up to a maximum of 7 characters in length.
Important: There is a known issue with case sensitivity when a second coupon is redeemed in checkout. Whether it is a coupon code being entered for a second time, or a second, separate coupon code being entered after a different coupon has been applied, the second coupon code is case sensitive. Merchants who have enabled the free shipping offer as part of their floating cart integration are advised that this issue also includes coupon codes redeemed after the free shipping offer has been applied to an order.
