Using UPS Paperless Invoice, you can transmit an international shipment's Commercial Invoice electronically to customs officials around the world. By using UPS Paperless Invoice, you can:
- Allow Customs to begin processing the shipment earlier.
- Reduce the risk of a shipment being held up in customs due to missing or damaged paperwork.
- Be a "greener" merchant by saving trees and resources.
UPS Paperless Invoice is a free service provided by UPS. To enable Paperless Invoice, you must contact your UPS Account Executive for a Letter of Agreement that authorizes UPS to use your company letterhead and signature on the Paperless Invoice. You must complete this Letter of Agreement, and provide UPS with a digital signature file and digital letterhead file in JPEG or TIFF format. Once UPS receives these, UPS will activate Paperless Invoice for your UPS account.
