By default, order and shipment status emails display order numbers that include the store ID before the order number. For example, if a customer's order number is 792, and your store ID is yhst-12345678911011, the order number would be displayed as yhst-12345678911011-792.
You may customize what's displayed before the order number in order and shipment status emails, using the Order Number Prefix field in the Shipment & Order Status section of Store Manager.
Locate the Order Number Prefix field and enter the custom order number prefix you wish to use. For example, if you wished to have the word acme displayed before the order number (acme-792), enter the word acme.
Click the Update button.
Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
When configuring order and shipment status emails, if you wish to use the store ID as the order number prefix, you may do so by leaving the Order Number Prefix field blank.
