Why do I get an invalid password error?

We find there are typically four causes of an Invalid Password message or password failure:
Needing to generate an app password.
If you access your business email in a third-party app (such as a mobile mail app, Outlook, Mac Mail, etc.), you will need to generate an app password. You will see a password and/or connection error if you enter your business email password into the app. If you recently updated your business email address to our new platform and was using a third-party mail app, you will need to replace the previous app password with a new one.
An incorrectly entered password.
Is CAPS LOCK on? Passwords are case-sensitive, which means that PASSWORD, PaSsWoRd, and password are seen as three different passwords. Try typing your password again, making sure to use uppercase and lowercase letters where necessary.
Is the login ID correct? Make sure that you are using the full and correct login ID when signing in to your account.
Issues with the browser.
Have you cleared the browser cache? Cached information can sometimes interfere with browser functions.
