Check the status of an email address

Learn how to find whether a business mailbox is active or pending.

You can check the status of an email address by going to your Email Control Panel.

Check the status of an email address

  1. Sign in to your Email Control Panel.
  2. You'll find the mailbox status in the Status column.
    • Pending - The user has not yet activated their business email address. Learn more.
    • Pending Transfer - The user has not yet activated their business email address in order to transfer it to another user. Learn more.
    • Active - The user has activated their business email address.
    Mailbox status will be near the right side of the page.
