How do I repair a corrupt database?

Is your database damaged? Learn how to run a fix to put things back in order.

Repair your database 

  1. Sign into your My Services page .
  2. Click on the Web Hosting link.
    The Web Hosting link under Control Panels.
  3. Click on MySQL Databases in the Databases module.
    The MySQL Databases link under Databases.
  4. From here, you can check and repair databases under the Modify Databases heading.
    1. To check a database, next to Check Database, select the database that you want to check.
      The Check Database dropdown under Modify Databases.
      Then click Check Database.
      The Check Database button under Modify Databases.
      Note: If the results all return "Ok" the database may not be corrupted. Other troubleshooting may be needed.
    2. To repair a database, next to Repair Database, select the database that you want to repair.
      The Repair Database dropdown under Modify Databases.
      Then click Repair Database.
      The Repair Database button under Modify Databases.

If issues persist after repairing the database, try a repair using phpMyAdmin.
