The Contents-elements field only applies to pages where the Leaf field is set to No (default). If set to Yes, then Contents-elements are set on the Config page of the Store Editor under Leaf-contents-elements. Note: Contents-elements is not an option in default Theme Manager-based themes.
By default, your store shows section names and their contents, as well as thumbnails with named contents. The Layout Tool lets you change the look of the section pages, but for more layout control, you can manipulate the variables directly. The Contents-elements variable in Variables controls which item attributes are displayed when items appear on a section page. Note: The Contents-elements variable on your home page controls which item attributes are displayed when items have been added as specials to the home page. Learn more.
