Timestamps in business email

Learn how email message timestamps work in Yahoo Mail.

If you see an incorrect timestamp in your business email messages, you can update it in your business email settings. Note: This option is only available in Full-featured Mail.

Update the timestamp in business email

  1. Sign in to your business email account.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
    The Settings icon.
  3. Click More Settings.
    The More Settings link.
  4. Select Viewing email.
    The Viewing email link.
  5. In the Viewing emails pane, select your closet location using the Closest city and timezone pull-down menu.

Note: If the timestamp does not update, clear your browser's cache and cookies and try again.
