Business email address not active

Learn why an account is still showing Pending in your Email Control Panel and what steps to take.

When you create an email address for someone, the email address isn't active until the account holder completes the steps in the email invitation. As soon as this is done, the email address will be active. If the person who you created the email account for lost the activation email, not to worry, just click Resend invitation.

Resend email invitation

  1. Sign in to your Email Control Panel.
  2. In the Status column, look for the Pending user.

  3. Click the Resend Invitation link. The Resend Invitation dialog will open.

  4. In the Send Invitation to field, enter any email address the user currently has access to and click the Send button.

  5. The user should follow these steps to activate their new business email address.
