Please note that to send and receive your business email in this app, you must create an app password. Learn more. Important: If you have recently updated your business email to our new platform, you must create a new app password.
POP vs IMAP - We recommend using IMAP over POP in most situations. Check out the differences and if you decide to use IMAP, you can use our IMAP setup guide.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Passwords & Accounts. Note: In iOS 11, tap Accounts & Passwords.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Other.
- Tap Add Mail Account.
- Enter the following:
- Name - The name you want on your outgoing email.
- Email - Your full business email address. Note: Be sure to use your primary business email address as shown in the Email Control Panel, and not an alias assigned to the account.
- Password - Your app password.
Note: If your business email address is not linked to a Yahoo ID, create your app password in your business email profile. Learn more. - Description - A descriptive name for your account.
- Tap Next.
- Tap POP.
- Below Incoming Mail Server, enter the following:
- Host Name - pop.bizmail.yahoo.com
- User Name - Your full business email address. Note: Be sure to use your primary business email address as shown in the Email Control Panel, and not an alias assigned to the account.
- Password - Your app password.
Note: If your business email address is not linked to a Yahoo ID, create your app password in your business email profile. Learn more.
- Below Outgoing Mail Server, enter the following:
- Host Name - smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
- User Name - Your full business email address. Note: Be sure to use your primary business email address as shown in the Email Control Panel, and not an alias assigned to the account.
- Password - Your app password.
Note: If your business email address is not linked to a Yahoo ID, create your app password in your business email profile. Learn more.
Note: You will not be prompted to add incoming and outgoing port numbers during the setup as they will automatically be configured. - Tap Save.
You can now send and receive emails with your business email from the native mail app.
