The Store Editor provides a quick and easy way to get your online store up and running. The Store Editor publishes information to your Catalog Manager (a database of your products); Google Shopping uses your product catalog to retrieve information about your products.
You can start creating pages in the Editor using our Store Editor Help Pages.
It is also possible to upload your items in bulk using the Database Upload feature.
If you would like instead to direct visitors to your Web Hosting homepage, you will need to create a website or just a single homepage for your account.
When you have created the pages that you are ready to make live to the public, you will need to edit the Domain Traffic Option.
You can then add a link to the homepage of your store, section pages, item pages, or any other pages that you would like to be accessible from the site. To locate a store page URL, you can view your published store, and then copy the URL from the browser's address bar.
For additional questions related to Web Hosting in general, please see our Web Hosting Help Pages.
Note: If you have chosen to use the Store Editor to create your main site and store, most of your changes to pages, templates, and items should be done through the Editor and not through Catalog Manager. Aside from adding the fields required for your items to be included in Google Shopping and making minor updates, most of your editing should take place within the Store Editor itself. This is especially important for database uploads. Perform these updates in the Editor rather than the Catalog Manager. Also, it is important not to move any section pages or items with accessories into new tables within the Catalog Manager as this can cause publishing errors.
After you are done creating your pages, you will want to get familiar with the backend of your store. Store Manager is where you can configure the shipping costs for your store, review your site's statistics, customize your checkout, and more. This is also where you will open your store for business when you are ready.
