Add values to form fields

Learn how to create options and special behaviors for default and custom fields in your checkout pages.

When you select to create a custom field with a field type of radio button, pull-down menu, list box, or check box, you will need to add values from which the buyer selects. You can also set a value as the default selection and remove values as necessary.

Adding values to form fields

  1. Sign in to your My Services page
  2. Click the Store link.
    The Store link is in the Control Panels column.
  3. Go to Checkout and Registration Manager.
    The Checkout & Registration Manager link is under Order Settings.
  4. Go to Page Configuration.

  5. From the Order tab, go to the page that you wish to add or edit fields.

  6. Select the field that you wish to add or edit and click the Add or Edit button.

  7. Add or edit the new field and select a field type.
  8. From the Field Attributes page, click the Next button.

  9. Enter a value in the Field Value field.

  10. Click the Add button. The value you added appears in the list box.

    Note: If you're removing a value, click the Remove button.

  11. If you wish, click the Set as default button. An asterisk will appear next to the value selected as the default.

  12. Click the Finish button.

  13. Click the Save button when finished or click the Save & Preview button to save and preview your changes.

  14. Return to Store Manager and publish your Order Settings.
