If you redelegate your domain from another service to Turbify, you'll update your domain name's contact information through your domain name registrar.
If your domain is registered through Turbify, the personal information you provided in your order was used to register your domain name.
Important: As of December 1, 2016 new domain transfer policies enacted by ICANN have revised the domain contact information update procedure. Additional verification steps must be completed before the update to the contact information will be accepted. The new flow for making updates is as follows:
- Domain owner updates the Registration Contact information (Registrant email address).
- An email is sent to the new Registrant, who verifies the update.
- A final confirmation email is sent to new Registrant.
Tip: For Website Builder plans, there won't be a Domains link in the Dashboard if there's no domain connected to your site.

Update your domain's contact information
- Sign in to your Domain Control Panel.
- Click the Contact Information tab.

- Click the Update contact information link (or unlock the domain to proceed).

- Please make note of the alert pop-up: if you don't respond to a verification email, your domain may be suspended. Click the Continue button to proceed.

- Enter your new contact info (email and mobile phone are most important). If you wish to waive the 60-day trade (transfer) lock, make sure that the Disable 60-day trade lock checkbox is marked. It will be marked by default. Click the Update button when ready.

Note: If your Admin and or Technical Contact info is the same as the Registrant Contact info, you can save time by ticking the Same as Registrant Contact checkbox. - The first email confirmation now gets sent to the new Registrant email account, and the verification flow mentioned above begins. Click the link in the email as shown below to verify.

- After clicking the link, you'll see the change acceptance screen.

Note: To automatically accept further contact information changes, click the checkbox for I explicitly authorize OpenSRS... then click Accept Trade. - You'll now see the acceptance confirmation screen.

- The final confirmation email will now be sent to both registrants.

Changes to your WHOIS record may take up to 24 hours to take effect.
