In many cases, a WordPress package breaks due to files that were deleted in the WordPress installation directory. Start by checking the integrity of the files in the WordPress blog. Go to the WordPress Toolkit. Click the Check WordPress Integrity link for the blog. In the window, click Verify Checksums. If files are missing or corrupted, it will inform you, with a list of files. Click Reinstall WordPress Core to correct the errors.
If this remedy fails, the WordPress database may be corrupted. In this case, try using the MySQL Databases check and repair feature. Click the MySQL Databases link in cPanel; in the Modify Databases section, select the database under Check Database and click the Check Database button. If the database tables show a message other than OK, go back to Modify Databases, select the same database under Repair Database and click the Repair Database button.
If you have made backups of your files and database, you can also use one of them to restore the files and or/database.

As a last resort, you may try activating a new WordPress blog. Important: Your original blog data will not be automatically reflected in your new WordPress blog. Warning: Do not install the new blog in the same location as the original. This will overwrite the files and may prevent further efforts to repair the original blog.
