Create a Cross-Sell rule

1. Sign in to your My Services page.
2. Click the Store link.
   
3. Click the Cross-Sell link.
   
4. Click the Create Entries button at the top of the page.
   
5. On the Create a Cross-Sell Entry page:
   • in the Selected Item column, choose an item from the pull-down menu or click Browse.
   • choose to display this item on the Product Detail page
   • choose to display this item on the Shopping Cart page
   • choose whether Cross-Sell items should either always or never appear with the selected item
     
   • Set optional start and end dates, if you'd like.
     
   • Select Cross-Sell items to be shown from the pull-down menus, or click Browse.
     
6. If you'd like to offer discounts when the cross-sell item is added to the cart in combination with the selected item, you can set either a dollar amount or percentage amount in the Discount field. Learn more.
7. Click the Create Entry button.
   
8. Verify your rule(s), then click the Add button.
   

You can choose as many Cross-Sell items as per selected item as you'd like, but a maximum of 100 items will appear at any time on your cart page.

If your store has more than 100 items, you may prefer to create and upload your rules in a table.

Cross-Sell rules may be edited at any time. Once a rule has been created, you can modify it by clicking the Edit button next to the rule and changing settings as you'd like, then clicking the Modify Entry button.

Stores with more than 100 items

When creating rules in Cross-Sell Manager, the Cross-Sell Items drop-down list will display up to a maximum of 100 items. Merchants whose stores carry more than 100 products will not see their complete inventory in the Cross-Sell Items list, and may prefer to create and upload rules in a table, using a CSV spreadsheet.

Click on the column headers to get instructive text on how to enter data into the Cross-sell spreadsheet. Remember to save the file as .CSV format in order to upload.
